Most people in the world own cell phones. However, there are also people in the world who are less fortunate and need these devices. Cell phones are important parts of every day life now. They are good to have in case of emergencies, car issues, and crimes. This is why some organizations ask that people donate their old cell phones. They can be re-programmed and used to benefit other human beings who are less fortunate.
Each donated cell phone can either improve or save someone’s life. A patient who suffers from a serious illness would be able to call for help if he or she has an attack.Didn’t catch that? This explains it. A person who is stuck in the middle of nowhere on a dark scary highway would be able to call for someone to pick him up if he had a cell phone. A victim of domestic violence would be able to telephone police or seek shelter if she had a cell phone.
Life is not always about making money. Sometimes it is good to just do something that can help a stranger. Old cell phones should be donated as much as possible. Even very old ones can at least be used to dial 911.
