How To Tell When You Need A Time Out

After getting the children off to school, feeding the family pet and shoveling your breakfast down in one gulp, you probably need to know how to tell when you need a time out.

Since most adults are programmed by their parents to take on responsibilities such as child-rearing, working and maintaining a home, stress levels can reach an all-time high after the sun has set, but the family is still raring to go. Two methods of finding out how to tell when you need a time out are as follows:

Fatigue Loss of energy is one way to tell if you need a time out.I was looking for more information and found it here. Often when a situation becomes unbearable, such as hearing bad news or when a plan goes awry, the body exhibits a loss of energy which is easily replenished with a simple time out. Taking a few moments to simply sit quietly without thinking of any pressing issues is a wonderful way to gain back that needed zest to continue the day.

Anger
Anger is usually the most common way of finding out if you need a time out. when angry, the blood pressure will rise and possibly cause loss of blood circulation, fainting or even a heart attack or stroke. If at work, it is always best to head for the nearest exit to breathe in fresh air and count to ten before becoming the next disgruntled office worker shown on the nightly news.
