Our life can be made easier by technology, and here’s a few smartphone apps that can help.
Find iPhone – We have all lost our phones before whether it was just buried under a pile of laundry or left in our office as we rushed out the door. The Find iPhone app will allow you log into another Apple device and see the phone’s location on a map and play a sound to help track it down.
OpenTable – Heading out for dinner with no plans, or needing a bite to eat while out for the day? The OpenTable app will show you restaurants in the area, menus, reviews, and even let you make reservations on the go.I found some more information here.
Epicurious- Do you prefer to eat in but don’t know what to make? Epicurious lets you add in ingredients you have at home and pulls up recipes that just require a few more items. Even better, it supports recipe reviews from other users.
Barcode Scanner – See an item on the shelf and wonder if it’s cheaper down the street? Wonder no more. Barcode Scanner uses the camera to scan in a barcode then looks up reviews and prices. Now you can be sure you’re getting the best deal.
Navigon MobileNavigator – The best GPS app on the market. While it is much pricier than the average app it is worth the cost as it is comparable to a standalone GPS device.
